Cleaning the House

walking the valley underneath the surface of ancient times
a sensual echo to the best of our recollection
like walking the gate of a tardis
beyond what was seen before

and while I inhale
soaking in what's a breath
yet the world, and prepare for becoming
(this could be a new life)

crossing the bridge
to the right, the black waters harbour what can't be revealed
seething with life on the left
as a clear stream evolves a contribution
in the midst of this Lazarus Pit
there's a rock that invites me to sit down

first, step on it with bare feet
my eyes see you disappear
looks like you're gone, but
you're still here

talking to her, the lake
who has got an ear for who listens
the dead log is speaking up
in the tongue of an aged carp
becoming attentively
he's so whise to distract me from the scream of relief

so loud, it is silent
and the earth shaking so hard
it stands still
I can see your silhouette
that covers the screen, as you turn to me and say:
“Welcome to your new life”
