about
„Hands On“ is a re – work of the 2019 single „Hands“, by the Post-Rock-duo le_mol, in cooperation with a person of many names: Pencil & Cherries, a.k.a. Phil „Sicko“ Hues. The result of this cooperation is a little weird piece of electronified Power-Pop/Rock. The capabilities of the powerful tool „hands“ are undeniable, even if actually, we mainly use them to wash them (clean?). An hommage to the hand and whatever we use to do with it in freedom and liberty: read its palms, reach out, create, give, love and kill.
lyrics
You told one
not to let the other know
and yet, hands down,
it's someone else's blood on yours
which one is responsible?
You may read it in the palms of mine
if they will talk to you
but stop promising
you'll only wash them dirty
can you lend me a...?
can I give you a...?
You may touch and move
a whole universe
but you're only squeezing air
underhanded,
we both know it all,
we both sold it all
hands down,
only the best to you, hold me
hold me
